Lower humidity, fewer power blips, best surf on the west coast. It's also peak tourist season, so book villas early and expect Canggu traffic at its worst. Rents are at their highest.

Often the smartest time to go: weather is still mostly good, prices dip, and the crowds thin out. If you can only pick one month, October is a strong bet.
